This year Mike and I spent one week in Wisconsin for Christmas. There were numerous highlights for us, as we got a lot accomplished in one week. One of the most memorable events was sledding with Cayden. Being in Seattle we miss Cayden and Javian (Mike's nephews); we feel like we are missing their growing up. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to spend quality time with our families and friends.
Another eye opening experience was our chaotic coast to coast adventure getting back to Seattle. The photo was taken at the Newark Airport, NJ. It is relieving to know that I can spend 12 hours traveling with Mike and we still are able to enjoy each other. I am appreciative that I've found a partner whom I can travel with, a rare commodity.
All in all it was a great holiday vacation. Not incredibly relaxing, but filled with cherished memories and heaps of happiness. Happy Holidays!
